Malypoeur Plong

Malypoeur Plong has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Their most recent position was at ABA Bank, where they served as the Head of Digital Product Development Division from October 2019 onwards. Prior to this, Malypoeur held the role of Head of Digital Product Development Department at the same company from January 2018 to September 2019. They also worked as a Project Manager in the Digital Banking Division from June to December 2017 at ABA Bank.

In addition, Malypoeur was the Founder of Stops Near Me - Phnom Penh City Bus platform, a position they held from February 2015 to June 2018. They also served as a Project Manager/Product Owner at Web Essentials from June 2016 to June 2017. Before that, they worked as a Part-time Teacher at the Royal University of Phnom Penh from November 2014 to February 2017.

Malypoeur's work experience also includes roles at KU Leuven, where they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Researcher at the Campus GroepT and e-Media research lab from February 2013 to October 2014 and September 2012 to October 2014, respectively. They also served as a Volunteer Staff at the IT Center, Royal University of Phnom Penh from September 2009 to September 2010.

Malypoeur Plong completed a Master's degree in Electronics ICT/Internet Computing from KU Leuven, Campus Group T, from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2010, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, General from the Institute of Foreign Languages. In 2006 to 2010, they also obtained another Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications related to project management and agile methodologies. These certifications include PRINCE2 Agile Project Management Certifications and PRINCE2 Project Management Certifications from AXELOS Global Best Practice, as well as Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certifications from Scrum.org. Most recently, in 2021, they also obtained the Fundamentals of digital marketing certification from Google Digital Garage.
