Brian Bauer

Brian Bauer is the President and Chief Strategy Officer at Abaca, a position they have held since March 2020. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at The Venture Center from October 2018 to March 2020. There, they worked with a team of entrepreneurs to launch and grow startups while producing industry-leading fintech startup accelerator programs for FIS and the ICBA. Before that, Brian was the Program Manager at The Venture Center from February 2016 to March 2018, where they oversaw the FIS Fintech Accelerator. Brian served in the US Navy from September 2002 to June 2013 as an HSC-84 Crew Chief, Aerial Gunner, and Aerial Gunner Instructor.

Brian Bauer received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Brian also completed their General Education at Lake Hamilton High School.

Their manager is Dan Roda, CEO. Brian Bauer works with John Foley - Chief Banking Officer, Greg Ellis - Chief Information Officer, and Greg - CTO.
