Eyad Tomeh

Eyad Tomeh has over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering and web development. In 2011, they began working as a Freelance Web Developer, creating and editing websites made with Python and Django, and integrating payment gateways. In 2013, they began working part-time for Presella as a Python/Django Web Developer, making edits to the website and converting designs to HTML. Eyad also began working for CloudAppers as a Python/Django Web Developer, building websites, Facebook apps, and mobile APIs. In 2015, they began working for Paradigma Tecnológico as a Python/Django Web Developer, working on backend code and APIs, integrating with 3rd party APIs, and code reviews. In 2016, they co-founded the Chefugee Association, handling operations for the events, and also began working for OpenShine as a Python/Django Developer. In 2018, they began working for Adtuo as a Lead Backend Python Developer, creating backend APIs and services using Django, Flask, and deploying to Firebase, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud functions, and Google Cloud PubSub. In 2019, they began working for Aplazame as a Senior Data Engineer, and in 2020 they began working for Bdeo as a Senior Data Engineer. Eyad is currently working for Abacum as a Senior Software Engineer.

Eyad Tomeh has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Open Degree from The Open University, which they obtained in December 2020. Eyad also has a Banking and Insurance degree from Damascus University, which they obtained in 2012. In addition, they hold a Learn to Program: The Fundamentals certification from Coursera, which they obtained in November 2012, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in January 2021.
