Avinash Arjavalingam has been working in the software engineering field since 2016. Avinash began their career as a Masters Student and Undergraduate Student at UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences (EECS). In 2017, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Berkeley RISE Lab, where they worked on the RISELab Cloudburst project with Professor Joseph Hellerstein and deployed pre-trained ML models on the Cloudburst serverless framework. Avinash also built a space efficient algorithm for asynchronously aggregating and reporting keys across distributed server nodes in Cloudburst with high and low frequencies of access. In addition, they worked on the Ground project. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at NVIDIA. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Uber. Finally, in 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Abacus.AI.

Avinash Arjavalingam obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from the University of California, Berkeley in 2020. Avinash then went on to pursue a Master's degree in the same field from the same university, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
