Christopher Sullivan

Christopher Sullivan, MSA has over 8 years of work experience in accounting and finance. Christopher began their career in 2013 as an Assistant Manager In Training at The Paper Store. In the same year, they joined Fleetmatics as an Order Management Representative. In 2015, they were promoted to Staff Accountant - GL Team, where they were responsible for preparing monthly Account Reconciliations, with associated journal entries for Accruals, Prepaid Expenses, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Transactions; including posting associated journal entries in NetSuite, as well as training the Finance Department on using Blackline, both in USA and Ireland. Christopher also maintained and optimized Affiliated Partner payments in an Excel database, saving over $16,000. In 2017, they were promoted to Supervisor - Order Management Group, where they supervised a team of 8 Order Management Representatives, domestic and international, and was responsible for maintaining accurate data entry of all Sales orders (~500 per day) in addition to Change Orders/Contract Addendums in Salesforce and NetSuite. In 2021, they joined Abacus Insights as a Sr. Staff Accountant and Bird as an Accounts Receivable Analyst, where they were responsible for the entire Order-to-Cash process, including creating sales orders, invoices, & credit memos, as well as maintaining A/R by tracking outstanding invoices and proactively communicating with Sales for collections on aging invoices. Christopher was also responsible for A/R related month end close duties, including account reconciliations and posting journal entries within NetSuite.

Christopher Sullivan, MSA, attained a Master of Science in Accounting from UMass Boston in 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Michael's College in 2007.
