DaKasha Cummings has worked in the healthcare industry since 2010. DaKasha began their career at CIGNA Healthcare as an Informatics Specialist, where they partnered with sales teams, medical directors, and other clinicians and resources to advise clients regarding benefits of new product offerings. In 2012, they moved to Health Partners Plans as a Sr. Business Analyst, where they served as a subject matter expert to system enhancements. In 2015, they joined RAM Technologies (Health Plan Software) as an Implementation Analyst, where they implemented Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial and Self-Employed lines of business via a fully integrated, turn-key administrative solution. In 2020, they joined athenahealth as a Project Manager. Most recently, they began working at Abacus Insights in 2022 as a Customer Success Manager.

DaKasha Cummings obtained a Bachelor of Science in Decision Support Systems from Saint Joseph's University. Additionally, DaKasha Cummings obtained a certification in Learning Cloud Computing: Core Concepts from LinkedIn in September 2020 and a certification in AHIP from America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) in July 2015.
