Priscus Kamugisha

Priscus Kamugisha has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting roles. Priscus began their career in 2011 as a Management Accountant at iWayAfrica Tanzania, where they were responsible for processing bills and invoices and preparing revenue reports. Priscus then worked as a Chief Accountant at Roben Island Trading Co. Ltd, where they managed the preparation of books of accounts and conducted financial forecasting and risk analysis. In 2016, Priscus joined Unilever Tea Tanzania Limited-UTTL as a Finance Officer, where they focused on financial management and analysis and maintained company financial policies. From 2017 to 2022, they served as a Financial Controller at Liquid Intelligent Technologies Tanzania, overseeing accounting operations, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with financial standards and regulations. Priscus is currently the Head of Finance at Abacus Pharma (A) Limited, a position they assumed in 2022.

Priscus Kamugisha began their education at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in 2007 and completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting in 2010. In 2011, they attended NBAA-CPA for a year, where they pursued a CPA degree. Additionally, during the same period, Priscus also studied at the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) and obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification with a specialization in Accounting.
