Phil Haack

Phil Haack has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Phil is currently the Founder and CTO of a Serious Business, Inc, a role they started in 2020. Prior to that, they founded Haacked LLC in 2018 and served as the CEO, where they mentored software organizations. Phil was also the Director of Engineering, Client Apps at GitHub from 2011 to 2018, leading a team that extended GitHub beyond browsers and command lines. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Microsoft as a Senior Program Manager, responsible for ASP.NET MVC and NuGet. Additionally, they were the CTO of VelocIT from 2005 to 2007, a Senior Development Manager at SkillJam Technologies from 2003 to 2005, and a Senior Architect at Univision in 2003. Phil'searliest work experience was as a Manager of Software Engineering at Solien Technology from 1997 to 2003, leading software teams and implementing best practices.

Phil Haack attended Occidental College from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics.
