Annika Heilman

Annika Heilman has worked in the retail and animal care industries since 2016. Annika began their career as an Assistant Animal Caregiver at Farm Sanctuary in 2016. In 2017, they held the roles of Program Coordinator at the Plant Based Foods Association and Retail Account Representative & Farmer's Market Manager at HODO. Annika then moved to Abbot's Butcher in 2021, where they have held the roles of Director of Retail Sales, Senior Sales Manager, and Retail Sales Manager.

Annika Heilman has a varied educational background. Annika received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science, International Studies, and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016. In 2015, they participated in a Study Abroad program at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. In 2013, they earned a Scandinavian Sea Kayaking and Backpacking certification from NOLS. In 2017, they studied Swedish as a Foreign Language at Lund University. Most recently, in 2020, they earned a Plant-Based Professional Certification from Rouxbe Online Culinary School.
