Alexandre Ferreira

Alexandre Ferreira has extensive experience in operational leadership and continuous improvement, with a career spanning over two decades in various roles. At Abbott from 2006 to 2019, Alexandre served as Director of Site Operations, overseeing a budget and strategy while leading a team of over 350 employees and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Prior roles at Abbott included Senior Manufacture and Continuous Improvement Manager and Continuous Improvement and Production Supervisor, focusing on process enhancement and project coaching. Additionally, Alexandre worked at St. Jude Medical as Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Manager, implementing initiatives in a heart valve production facility, and held a position at TRW as Production Engineer and Black Belt, emphasizing cost reduction and lean events in the automotive industry. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Mechanical Engineering and a Post Graduate Degree in Production Management and Industrial Automation from CEFET MG.
