Marie-Claude st-Gelais

Marie-Claude St-Gelais has extensive experience in legal and compliance roles, particularly in the corporate sector. At Abbott from January 2013 to June 2018, Marie-Claude served as Division Vice-President and Ethics and Compliance Officer for International operations, in addition to heading legal affairs in Latin America and Canada. Prior to Abbott, Marie-Claude was Senior Legal Counsel at BCE Emergis Inc. (now Telus), where responsibilities included commercial contracts and M&A transactions. Earlier experience includes a position as Legal Counsel at Bell Canada International Inc., focusing on financing and telecommunications-related legal matters, as well as an associate role at Byers Casgrain (now Dentons Canada), specializing in corporate and commercial law. Marie-Claude holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and is a member of the Barreau du Québec.
