Debra Touw

Debra Touw is a Principal Scientist at AbbVie, with tenure starting in January 2015, focusing on the mammalian cell production and characterization of antibody and bispecific biologics drug candidates. Prior to this role, Debra served as a Senior Scientist at AbbVie Bioresearch Center from March 2011 to January 2015, where responsibilities included yeast display of single-chain antibody libraries and mammalian cell culture production. Debra's earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Associate position at UMass Medical School, concentrating on membrane protein crystallography, and another Postdoctoral Associate role at the University of Michigan. Debra holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a BA in Chemistry from Boston University.
