Domenick Kennedy

Domenick Kennedy is a highly experienced research scientist currently serving as a Principal Research Scientist at AbbVie since October 2020, having previously held positions as Senior Scientist II and Senior Scientist. Prior to AbbVie, Domenick worked as an NIH NRSA Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Chicago from July 2016 to October 2020, where mentorship was provided by Marcus R. Clark MD. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Loyola University Chicago (2010-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2006-2010). Additionally, Domenick was a Ph.D. candidate in Microbiology and Immunology at Loyola University Chicago from August 2010 to July 2016 and has research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Cognitive Neuroscience for Memory Lab at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from January 2009 to May 2010.
