Laura Liu

Laura Liu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and acquisitions, currently serving as Associate Director at AbbVie since September 2024. Prior to this role, Laura worked at Circle Pharma, Inc. as Manager of Strategy and Corporate Development, and held positions in venture capital and investment at Emerson Collective and Boxer Capital, LLC. Laura began a foundational career at Genentech, progressing from Process Development Co-op to Process Engineer within the Operations Rotational Development Program. Earlier experiences include an internship at Amgen as a Drug Substance Intern. Laura Liu holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an MS in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University, and a BS in Biochemistry with a minor in Biomedical Research from UCLA.
