Leah Rizzo

Leah Rizzo has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as an Assistant Scientific Director in Immunology Gastro at AbbVie since March 2008. In this role within US Medical Affairs, Leah oversees various facets of medical information and communication. Prior positions at AbbVie include Senior Manager and Medical Information Specialist, where responsibilities included providing scientifically balanced responses to healthcare professionals globally. Leah also held the position of Principal Medical Safety Analyst, focusing on training and project management within Postmarketing Safety. Prior to joining AbbVie, Leah worked as an RN in Labor and Delivery at Aurora Health Care from June 2004 to March 2008. Leah holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a prior degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
