Nate Gesmundo

Nate Gesmundo is a seasoned chemist with extensive experience in discovery chemistry and technology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist II at AbbVie since June 2017, Nate previously held the position of Senior Scientist I at the same company. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Merck, where Nate developed high-throughput experimentation capabilities, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, culminating in a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. Early career experience includes positions as an Analytical Chemist at Pfizer and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Michigan State University, focusing on palladium-catalyzed cross couplings and iridium-catalyzed C-H borylation.
