Tim Golden

Tim Golden is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operational excellence and quality management within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Director of Aseptic Processing and Director of Operational Excellence at AbbVie since October 2022, Tim previously held various significant roles at Allergan from August 2000 to May 2020, including Associate Director of Operational Excellence and Operational Excellence and Innovation Manager, where leadership in implementing the OPEX model and structured innovation was key. Tim's earlier career included a position as Quality Manager at BD from 1997 to 2000 and managing various quality control labs at Allergan's Westport site. Tim holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Galway, a Master of Arts in Technical and Scientific Communication from the University of Limerick, a higher diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from Trinity College Dublin, and a B.Sc. in Industrial Microbiology from University College Dublin.
