Tony Wu

Tony Wu is a Senior Scientist I currently working at AbbVie since July 2024, focusing on biomarker screening and assay development. Previously, Tony served as a Scientist/Sr Scientist I at Ashvattha Therapeutics, Inc. from July 2022 to July 2024, where leadership of a research team and management of CROs and collaborators were key responsibilities in developing cell-based assays and bioanalytical techniques. Tony completed a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Cell and Tissue Engineering. Additionally, Tony has a diverse background in research and education, including roles such as Head Teaching Assistant and undergraduate research assistant, contributing to various projects in drug delivery, nanoparticle therapeutics, and innovative medical device development.
