Lone Hedegaard Mortensen

Lone Hedegaard Mortensen is a sustainability expert with extensive experience in building physics and energy-efficient construction. Currently serving as Sustainability Lead at Gaiup since November 2022 and as Afdelingsleder Bæredygtighed at ABC - Rådgivende Ingeniører, Lone has previously held positions as a Bygningsingeniør (Ph.D.) at NIRAS and Seniorforsker at the Danish Building Research Institute, Aalborg University Copenhagen. With a strong academic background, including a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, Lone has contributed significantly to the fields of sustainability, indoor climate, and the energy efficiency of buildings throughout a career that spans nearly two decades.
