Austin McIlsley

Austin McIlsley has a diverse work experience in quality control and research. Austin started their career in 2010 as a Laboratory Assistant at Washington State University. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Lab Preparation Teaching Assistant, preparing labs for microbiology and molecular biology classes. In 2013, they joined Veterinary Medical Research and Development as a Quality Control Technician, where they tested and troubleshot ELISA kits and developed analytical tools for improved efficiency. From 2014 to 2018, they served as a Scientific Assistant at Washington State University, performing genomic comparison and annotation, DNA extraction and sequencing, and protein identification.
