Naveed Akhtar Rana

Naveed Akhtar Rana is the current Director of Finance at Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Naveed has over twenty-five years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to their current position, Rana was the Financial Controller at Arabian Automobiles Company from May 1996 to April 2010. In this role, they were responsible for the overall financial management of the company. Rana also worked as the Finance Manager at Shaheen Air International from April 1994 to April 1996, where they were responsible for the accounting of the Islamabad region, including airport sales and collections, travel agent sales and stock.

Naveed Akhtar Rana has completed the following educational programs: The Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford; MBA (Executive) in Business Administration and Management, General, at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology; Bachelor of Commerce - BCom in Commerce at Punjab College of Commerce - Rawalpindi (Punjab University); Higher Secondary School (HSSC) Islamabad Board in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates at Islamabad College H/9; Secondary School (SSC) Rawalpindi Board in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates at Ideal Cambridge School. Naveed Akhtar Rana has also received certification from Bait Al-Mashura Finance Consultations in Islamic Finance, Islamic Investments, Products and Contracts; certification from Informa & Tharawat LLC in Trade Finance; certification from PwC in International Financial Reporting Standards (Refresher); and certification from Euromoney Learning in Corporate Finance and M&A.

They are on a team with Tareq Al Habbab - Senior Manager, Projects & Facilities, Samer Jalal - Director, HR & Administration, and Faisal Omari - Customer Relations Management Manager. Naveed Akhtar Rana reports to R.K. Murugan, CEO.
