Todd Thaxton

Todd Thaxton has extensive work experience in the media production and technology industry. Todd started their career in 2001 at Madt Teknology, Inc., where they worked as a Technologist specializing in media production. Their responsibilities included the installation and operation of audio-visual systems, camera streaming, lighting systems, and cabling installation. Todd worked at Madt Teknology, Inc. for 18 years until 2019.

In 2019, Todd joined AbelCine as an Integration Technician. In this role, they provided technical oversight during all stages of planning and execution, and had in-depth technical knowledge of event production, audio-visual equipment, streaming encoders, conferencing, and video content creation. Additionally, they served as the technical lead for project preparation and implementation.

In addition to their industry experience, Todd also worked as an Adjunct Instructor and Course Content Designer at New York University from 2000 to 2002.

Todd Thaxton pursued an M.F.A. with a concentration in Broadcast Studio Infrastructure at the New York Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2021. Their field of study was Communication and Media Studies.
