Ana Julia Ghirello is the Founder of abeLLha, and was previously the GM Direct to Consumer (DTC) at Telecine. At Telecine, they were responsible for delivering an aggressive strategy with results that represent a relevant share of the Brazilian streaming market. Ana has also created and driven the D2C strategy in alignment with the traditional payTV business and overall Telecine strategy.
Ghirello has a long history of working in the consumer entertainment industry. Ana started their career as a TV Producer at Globo TV, before moving on to work as a Consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton and then as a Business Manager at Vivo (Telefonica Group). In their role at Vivo, they were responsible for launching and managing new products and services in the consumer market.
Ghirello has a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and an MBA from INSEAD.
Ana Julia Ghirello has a BA in Advertising & Public Relations from The City College of New York and a degree in Leadership/Change Management from DUKE/LSE Corporate Education.
