Michael Lee

Michael Lee has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Abett since April 2023. Previously, they held the role of Vice President of Operations at the same company from April 2022 to April 2023, where they focused on delivering innovative solutions to improve the healthcare system.

Prior to that, Michael was the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Hypotenuse Capital Management, LLC, a private investment advisor, from 2012 onwards. Michael'sinvestment strategy focused on companies with exceptional cultures and leadership.

Michael also worked as the EVP Strategy and Special Projects at Venbrook Companies from April 2021 to April 2022, where they led corporate strategy, managed mergers and acquisitions, and supported key corporate projects.

From 2019 to April 2021, Michael served as the Head of Strategic Finance & FP&A at Enlivant.

Before that, they worked as a Partner at Royal Capital Management, LLC, from June 2006 to May 2012. Michael'sresponsibilities included sourcing and executing investments in various sectors, including software, technology, financial institutions, and healthcare.

Michael started their career as an Associate at Parthenon Capital and Analyst at Bear Stearns in 2004 and 2002, respectively.

Michael Lee attended Lakeside School from 1994 to 1998. After completing high school, they went on to Dartmouth College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Economics from 1998 to 2002.
