Alexander Hughes is a dedicated political and cultural commentator currently serving as the John Aroutiounian Fellow at the Abigail Adams Institute since May 2022, where contributions include leading a reading group on Wang Huning's work. In 2024, Alexander will be a Student Fellow with the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, supported by Harvard's Stad Fellowship. As Editor in Chief of The Harvard Salient from January 2023 to May 2024, Alexander managed publication efforts for a conservative journal and engaged with alumni through various platforms. Additional experience includes being a National Defense Fellow with The Alexander Hamilton Society and an editorial intern at National Review, along with earlier roles in public speaking instruction and constituents' casework for the Michigan House of Representatives. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Harvard University, expected in May 2025, and possesses an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Gene L. Klida Utica Academy for International Studies.
