In his role as vice president, innovation and artificial intelligence, Noam Josephy, MD, is responsible for leading the development and introduction of new products, expanding Abiomed’s artificial intelligence and machine learning footprint to allow for advanced decision support in the ICU, and Abiomed’s bench to bedside translational research partnerships.
Noam joined Abiomed in 2013 and has served in multiple leadership roles, including leading Abiomed’s clinical and basic research, venture investment, advanced data analytics and early product development. Noam led the design and launch of the STEMI-DTU, PROTECT IV, and RECOVER IV randomized controlled trials and Abiomed’s early feasibility studies program.
Noam received his MD from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Rappaport School of Medicine in Haifa, Israel, and his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
