Michael Dowd

Michael Dowd is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various technical roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer and previously as a Senior Software Engineer at ABL Space Systems since February 2023, Michael's career also includes significant positions at stealth, SpaceX, Whisper App, Cooking.com, and Fonality. Notably, Michael held the roles of Lead Software Engineer and Enterprise Software Engineer II at SpaceX from December 2017 to January 2019. Michael's experience spans from software development to technical support, beginning with an Operations Specialist role in the U.S. Coast Guard. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Long Beach, earned between 2007 and 2011.
