Ayeda Sayeed has an extensive work experience spanning from 2012 to present. In 2012, they worked as an Office Assistant at London Tax & Accounting, and as a Camp Counselor at Western University Summer Academy. From 2012 to 2014, they were part of the Western University SunStang Solar Car Project, where they held the roles of Project Manager, Motor Control Lead, Business Operations Manager, Communications Lead, and Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Member. In 2014, they were a Controls Engineer Intern at General Motors. From 2016 to 2019, they were at the University of Waterloo, where they were a Master Thesis Student, Teaching Assistant, and Teaching Assistant. Since 2020, they have been at Able Innovations, where they are a Lead Software Developer and Control Systems Specialist II.

Ayeda Sayeed began their educational journey at Medway High School from 2007 to 2011. Ayeda then attended Western University from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechatronic Systems Engineering. In 2016, they went on to pursue a Master's degree in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, which they completed in 2018. Currently, they are enrolled in a Nanodegree program in Self-Driving Car Engineering at Udacity.
