Marcel Kramer

Marcel Kramer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. since March 2006. Currently serving as the Program Director of Generative AI, Marcel is instrumental in transforming business processes through innovative AI solutions. Previous roles include Head of Data Engineering, overseeing the bank's data and analytics capabilities through 30+ distributed DevOps teams, and IT Manager for Data Quality & Analytics, managing multidisciplinary teams focused on data integrity and analytics development. Additional responsibilities have included leading Data and Integration Technology initiatives, managing IT changes within ALM, and spearheading a significant IT transformation program aimed at enhancing IT delivery efficiency. Marcel has also contributed to the Dutch initiative Transactie Monitoring Nederland as a member of the Tech Advisory Board and has experience in consultancy roles at IIE. Marcel holds two Master's degrees in Information Science from the University of Amsterdam.
