Jeff Barker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jeff is currently the Head of Global GTM and G&A Recruiting at Abnormal Security, a leading cybersecurity company offering integrated cloud security solutions. Prior to this, they served as the Head of CS, ProServ, and Renewals Recruiting at Slack, where they led a team of recruiters and supported Customer Success and Consulting Services hiring across North America. Jeff also held the position of Head of Talent Acquisition at AltSource, Inc., where they helped organizations achieve their business goals through custom software solutions. Before that, Jeff worked at SalesFirst Recruiting as the VP of Recruiting, Director of Recruiting, Senior Recruiter, and Recruiter, where they played a key role in building elite sales, marketing, administrative, and leadership teams. Additionally, they have experience as the General Sales Manager and Senior Account Executive at Brandefined, where they managed operations, departments, and brand management for small businesses worldwide. Jeff started their career as a Teacher at the International School of Curacao and Reynolds School District. Jeff also worked as a Life Coach at TAYLORS BAR & GRILL.

Jeff Barker obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Oregon, which they completed in 2008. In 2009, they pursued further education at Concordia University-Portland, where they obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching degree with Summa Cum Laude distinction in 2010. The field of study for their MAT degree was Education.
