Colin Teo.

Colin Teo is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in fraud detection and machine learning applications, currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Aboitiz Data Innovation since January 2024. Prior to this role, Colin held multiple positions at Shift Technology from March 2019 to January 2024, including Tech Lead Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist, where contributions focused on end-to-end fraud detection projects across APAC and assistance in insurance fraud detection in North America. Colin's earlier career includes research positions at the Centre for Bioimaging Sciences, Singapore University of Technology and Design, and the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information, with a strong academic foundation in quantum optics and information from the Centre for Quantum Technologies. Colin possesses technical skills in C#, SQL, Python, and PowerShell, and earned a PhD in Physics from the Centre for Quantum Technologies.
