Zachary King

Zachary King, Ph.D., is a Service Design Strategist (VP) at Citi, where responsibilities include leading UX research for consumer wealth management products, creating data-driven customer personas, and executing over 35 studies to inform product strategy. Prior to this, Zachary served as Director of UX/UI at WeUp 'Its All Good', focused on storytelling-focused UX design for a mobile application. Academic experience includes roles as Community Faculty at Metropolitan State University and Research Sociologist and Instructor at UC Santa Barbara, where significant qualitative research was conducted across various cultures and methods. Zachary holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara, complemented by a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field, along with an Associate’s Degree from Santa Barbara City College. Prior graphic design and landscaping experiences further enhanced Zachary's diverse skill set.
