Nicole Avramenko has a strong background in the food industry, with experience in research, innovation, and management roles. Nicole currently works at Above Food as a Research & Innovation Manager, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, Nicole worked at NorQuin, where they held multiple positions. Nicole served as a Food Science Manager from September 2020 to September 2022, during which they were responsible for overseeing the scientific aspects of food development. Before that, they worked as a Food Scientist R&D from May 2020 to September 2020 and as a Technical Services Manager from May 2019 to April 2020. Nicole also has academic experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan. Nicole Avramenko has a strong educational background in food science. Nicole completed their Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Food Science at the University of Saskatchewan from 2006 to 2010. Nicole then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Food Science at the same institution from 2011 to 2013. Nicole further expanded their knowledge and expertise in the field by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Food Science from the University of Saskatchewan, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
