Anna Von Reden

UX Lead at Abridge

Anna Von Reden is the UX Lead at Abridge. Anna was previously an Associate Product Manager at UPMC Enterprises, where they defined a vision for the future of machine intelligence in medical imaging, alongside clinical & executive stakeholders. Anna also assisted in evaluating potential development partnerships with companies & academic researchers, and created a greenhouse to define product & service experiences and overcome feasibility obstacles for high value ideas.

Before their time at UPMC Enterprises, Anna was a UX Designer at Ping Identity, as part of a joint development agreement with a major global corporation to envision & realize the future of diagnostic imaging. During their time there, they guided the design of NGI's flagship application from an idea to hi-fi wireframes for implementation by six global, agile development teams. Anna also built an application that structures lung cancer screening data, enabling longitudinal lesion-tracking.

In addition to their work at Ping Identity, Anna has interned with the Global Client Services Group at Ping Identity. During their internship, they wrote & illustrated a vision story to explain the imaging domain and managed an external UX consultant team.

Anna Von Reden attended Carnegie Mellon University, where they earned a master's degree in Communication Planning and Information Design. Prior to that, they earned a bachelor's degree in engineering with a concentration in materials science from the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.

Anna Von Reden reports to Shiv Rao, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Lindsey Spellman - Head, Marketing, Elisa Ferracane - NLP Research Scientist, and Steve Magoun - Director, Engineering.
