Luis Augusto Tamayo Obregón

Luis Augusto Tamayo Obregón has a diverse range of work experience. Luis Augusto began their career in 2015 as an Auditor for quality control in apple retail stores at Iristrace: Plan, Do, Check, Act!. In 2016, they worked as a Digital Marketing coordinator and Industrial designer at My Best Supplier SL., where they managed and coordinated the creation of websites and assisted with artwork production. From 2017 to 2018, Luis worked as a Back office technical and commercial employee at HMY, drafting technical drawings for furniture design and making quotes and orders for customers and suppliers. In 2018, they joined Grupo SPR - SPR División Industrial y Servicios S.L. as a Project Manager. Back office technical, where they were responsible for detail engineering and process plant design for a metal recovery plant dealing with out-of-use vehicles. Additionally, they led the commissioning of a TQZ Impact chain mill for plastic and metals located at Bilbao recycling site. In 2019, Luis obtained a PREVENTION IN CONSTRUCTION CERTIFICATE from Fundación Laboral de la Construcción. Currently, they are working as a Technical Office Engineer at Abrisud, starting in November 2021.

Luis Augusto Tamayo Obregón completed their education in Industrial and Product Design. Luis Augusto attended the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development. Later, in 2017 to 2018, Luis pursued further education at UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and earned a postgraduate degree in Advanced Techniques in Product Prototypes Manufacture, focusing on industrial design and product development.
