Kuntal Satpathi

Kuntal Satpathi is a Senior Engineer II at American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), focusing on developing techno-economic models of green shipping corridors and energy systems modeling for maritime decarbonization. Prior to ABS, Kuntal worked as a Senior Energy Market Analyst at Energy Exemplar where Kuntal led projects on energy market model development and implementation for renewable players in the Indian electricity market. With a background in research and development, Kuntal also served as a Research Scientist at Rolls-Royce@NTU Corporate Laboratory, specializing in control strategies for energy storage systems and microgrid applications. Additionally, Kuntal is a published book author and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
