Thulele Moreki

Thulele Moreki has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. They started their career at Absa Group in 2011 as a Quality Fulfilment Officer, focusing on ensuring quality service delivery. They then moved on to become a PMO (Program Management Office) for the Africa COO at Absa Group, where they provided reporting and governance support to the Transformation Programme. Thulele Moreki joined Standard Bank Group in 2014 as a Pricing Analyst and gradually moved up to become a Pricing Manager, Pricing and Billing Risk Manager, and eventually a Pricing Development and Analytics Manager. In 2023, they joined Absa Group once again, this time as the Head Lending Pricing.

Thulele Moreki completed a Certificate in South African Public Sector Structures, Functions and Finance at the University of Cape Town in 2022. Prior to that, Thulele obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Milpark School of Financial Services from 2019 to 2021. Thulele also holds a Master of Economic Science in Economic Sciences from the University of the Witwatersrand (2012-2013), a BCom Hons in Economics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (2010), and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences from the University of the Witwatersrand (2006-2009). Additionally, Thulele has obtained several certifications in various areas such as data analysis, financial modeling, negotiation skills, and SAS programming.
