Vish Sanghani

Vish Sanghani has extensive experience in learning and talent management. Vish currently holds the role of Chief Learning Officer at Absa Group since 2024. Prior to this, they worked at Standard Bank Group as the Head of Learning for Corporate & Investment Banking from 2016 to 2024. Vish also served as the Group Head of Talent Management at Chalhoub Group (Middle East) from 2013 to 2016. Vish gained experience in talent management as a Senior Consultant at Microsoft (Middle East & Africa) from 2011 to 2013 and as the Head of Learning and Talent at MTN (South Africa) from 2005 to 2011. Earlier in their career, Vish held learning and development roles at Microsoft (Australia & NZ) and Deloitte (Australia) from 2001 to 2005 and 1999 to 2004, respectively.

Vish Sanghani earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) with a specialization in International Business & Human Resources from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in Australia in 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom Accounting) from the University of Mumbai, India, between 1993 and 1996. Vish Sanghani also attended The Cathedral and John Connon School, where they completed their ICSE qualification in an undisclosed year.
