Taylor Simmons

Taylor Simmons is a Senior Analyst at Abt Global since May 2022, previously serving as an ORISE Fellow at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) from July 2020 to May 2022. Prior experience includes a Junior Associate position at Health Management Associates from May 2017 to June 2020, an internship at the United Nations Population Fund focused on youth empowerment in East Jerusalem, and a Global Health U Coordinator role with GlobeMed, where curriculum development and discussions on global health inequity were key responsibilities. Additional roles included a Research Assistant at Taatjes Lab working on protein cloning, an intern at Rights for All People, and an intern at Children's Hospital Colorado. Taylor holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
