Valmore Bloomberg

Valmore Bloomberg has over two decades of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing. Valmore was a Senior Director of Procurement at Abt Associates starting in December 2011. Prior to that, they worked at DAI as a Director of Procurement and Subcontracts from January 2009 to December 2011. At DAI, they developed procurement strategies and policies and managed vendor relationships. Valmore also served as a Director of Procurement at XM Satellite Radio from October 2005 to December 2008, where they oversaw strategic sourcing and procurement operations for a $1 billion media company. Before that, they were a Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing at XO Communications, Inc. from July 2000 to October 2005, where they led a team and executed a $500 million spend strategy. Valmore began their career at Winstar Communications in June 1996, where they led the strategic sourcing group and managed a team of procurement professionals. Valmore Bloomberg has a strong background in procurement and has effectively implemented strategic sourcing methodologies throughout their career.

Valmore Bloomberg holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, completed in 1998. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1988, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business with a focus on Purchasing and Procurement Management from Miami University. Moreover, they have acquired additional certifications in "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" and "Communicating with Transparency" from LinkedIn in 2020.
