Amin Younus

Amin Younus has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Amin most recently served as the Head of Account Opening Unit at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank since February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Manager - Account Origination and Services at ADIB from November 2017 to January 2022. Amin also worked as a Manager - Policy and Procedures at ADIB from April 2017 to October 2017.

Before joining ADIB, Amin worked at Reem Finance where they held various roles. Amin served as the Head of Operations, IT & Support Services from June 2016 to March 2017. Prior to that, they were the Manager Credit Admin & Operations from January 2011 to May 2016 and was subsequently promoted to Head of Operations in January 2015.

Amin's earlier work experience includes working at Noor Islamic Bank as the Head of Consumer Asset Operations from February 2007 to December 2010. Amin also worked as a Freelancer, assisting companies in UAE and Pakistan with designing and developing their operations processes from April 2010 to October 2010.

Prior to their roles at Reem Finance and Noor Islamic Bank, Amin worked at Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan as the VP- Head of Consumer Asset Operations from September 2005 to December 2006 and at United Bank Limited as the VP - Country Consumer Asset Operations Head from November 2003 to August 2005.

Amin's career in the banking industry began at Citigroup, where they held the position of Manager - Operations (Liabilities/Auto Finance) from April 1993 to October 2003. Amin also served as an Assistant Manager at Citigroup from an unspecified date in 1993 to 2000.

Amin Younus completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Govt Commerce College in Karachi from 1988 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended BVS Parsi High School from 1983 to 1987. In 1993, they obtained an ACMA I certification from ICMA. A few years later, from 1994 to 1996, Amin Younus pursued an MBA degree at Newport University Karachi Campus. In 2012, they attended the Westford Institute in Sharjah and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Islamic Banking & Finance, focusing on Islamic Financing.
