Fawad Taufique has a diverse work experience in the financial sector. Fawad started their career at A. F. Ferguson & Co. as a Supervisor in ABAS and GRMS. Fawad then joined Pak Oman Investment Company Ltd as Vice President in the Investment Banking Division. After that, they worked at Mashreq Bank as a Director in Treasury & Capital Markets. Currently, Fawad holds the position of SVP & Head of Group ALM, FX & Institutional Sales in the Group Treasury at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank.

Fawad Taufique, FCA CFA, began their education by completing their O Levels at the University of Cambridge from 1994 to 1997. Their field of study included Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Additional Mathematics, Mathematics, Business & Commercial Studies. Following this, they pursued their A Levels at the University of Cambridge from 1997 to 1998, focusing on Accounting and Mathematics. Fawad then attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained their Chartered Accountant degree with a specialization in Financial Management. Finally, they studied at the CFA Institute from 2007 to 2010, earning a CFA degree in Portfolio Management.
