Sean Rasmussen Ms

Sean Rasmussen MS, CHMM has a diverse work experience in environmental, health, safety, and security roles. Sean currently holds the position of Director of Environmental, Health, Safety & Security at Abzena, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Manager of Health, Safety, Environment & Security at bioMérieux from April 2020 to June 2022. From January 2016 to March 2020, Sean was the Environment, Health and Safety Manager at CSL. Sean worked as a Senior EHS Specialist at Novartis from August 2012 to January 2016, and as an EHS Specialist II at Pfizer from September 2003 to August 2012. Before their roles in the pharmaceutical industry, Sean worked as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Fort Dodge Animal Health from June 1994 to September 2003. Sean began their career as a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician at The University of Iowa in 1992.

Sean Rasmussen MS, CHMM has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Iowa, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Sean also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Iowa State University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2003. Furthermore, Sean earned a Master of Science degree in EHS Management from Rochester Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their degrees, they are also certified as a Hazardous Materials Manager by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management.
