Jose Maria Zabaleta

Sech is the Chief Development Officer of AC Energy Corporation and heads the company’s development arm, ACE Endevor, with over 3,000 MW of generation capacity under active development and 500 MW constantly under construction. He is also the Chairman of AC Energy’s operating renewable subsidiaries and partnerships in the Philippines.

Previously, Sech was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bronzeoak Philippines, a pioneer and leader in clean technology energy development in the Philippines. Since 2004 and under his leadership, the Bronzeoak Group has deployed nearly $1 billion in capital across 16 completed projects with multiple international partners and investors. Bronzeoak’s energy businesses were integrated into AC Energy, Inc. in late 2016, and he now serves as Chief Executive Officer of Bronzeoak’s independent non-energy investments.

Sech holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, USA, and graduated with honors from Ateneo de Manila University.
