Dayou Qian

Dayou Qian is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Product Line Manager at Acacia Communications Inc. since September 2014, overseeing the AC400 and AC1200 flex rate coherent MSA module and accompanying ASIC product lines. Prior to this role, Dayou Qian was a Product Line Manager at Juniper Networks, focusing on packet optical solution development and marketing support from September 2013 to August 2014. Dayou Qian's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Researcher at NEC Laboratories America from May 2005 to August 2013, where significant contributions were made to 100/400G transponder development, SDN, and control plane development. Academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University, a Master’s in Telecommunications from UCLA, and a Bachelor’s in Physics from Tsinghua University.
