From 2013 to 2016, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Bibles for America, where they replaced a legacy .NET fulfillment system with a well-tested Ruby system that ships 500,000 items per year and interfaces with numerous third party APIs, and replaced sluggish WordPress public facing sites with static, AWS hosted sites that decreased load times by 800% and hosting costs by 3000%. From 2006 to 2013, they were the Technical Officer and Owner at Kandlepower, LLC, and they were a Counselor at Christian Students at UGA from 2006 to 2013.
