Rachel Carlton Abrams

Rachel Carlton Abrams has extensive experience in integrative health and medicine, currently serving as a Board Member at the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine since March 2019. As the Owner of Doctor Rachel since July 2016, Abrams focuses on writing, speaking, and teaching, including the publication of "BodyWise: Finding Your Body's Intelligence for Lifelong Health and Healing." Since 2008, Abrams has also owned Santa Cruz Integrative Medicine, an integrative health center offering holistic care from various practitioners. Prior experience includes serving on the board of the American Holistic Medical Association and working as a Family Physician at Santa Cruz Medical Clinic from 2000 to 2007. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Master's degree in Health and Medical Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in Holistic and Women's Health.
