Marisa Streelman Dnp

Marisa Streelman DNP, RN, CMSRN, NE-BC is an accomplished nursing leader currently serving as President of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN) and the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board (MSNCB) since January 2023. With extensive experience in various leadership roles, Marisa has been a Strategic Advisor to the Chief Nurse Executive and Staff Specialist at Michigan Medicine since May 2019. Previous positions include Unit Director at Rush University Medical Center and Nurse Manager at the University of Colorado Hospital, alongside a decade at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in roles ranging from Staff Nurse to Nurse Manager. Marisa holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a focus on Transformational Leadership from Rush University, completed between 2017 and 2019.
