Barbara Knight

Barbara Knight is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Learning Specialist and Lead Science Guide at The Academy of Thought and Industry since February 2021. Prior to this role, Barbara worked at Noble Academy as a Special Education Teacher from June 2014 to February 2021, and at Grandview Preparatory School as a Middle School Science Teacher from August 2011 to August 2014. Earlier experience includes teaching Math and Science at Oak Ridge Military Academy from May 2009 to May 2011, and working as a freelance Social Media Content Writer/Creator from 2009 to 2011. Barbara holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from the American College of Education (August 2020 - July 2023) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (2006 - 2010).
