Bech Bruun

Bech Bruun has a diverse work experience, ranging from roles in government positions to executive roles in the finance sector. Bech is currently working as an Executive Director in Public Finance at Academy Securities since 2024. Prior to this, they held the same role at UBS Financial Services Inc. from 2018 to 2024. Bech also served as a Board Member at the Texas Water Development Board from 2013 to 2024. In addition, they were the Director of Governmental Appointments at the Office of Governor Rick Perry from 2012 to 2013, and prior to that, they worked as the Government and Customer Relations Manager at Brazos River Authority from 2010 to 2012. Bech also has experience working as the Chief of Staff for Texas State Representative Todd Hunter, as well as being the Executive Director for Texas Victory 2008. Overall, Bech Bruun has a strong background in both government and finance sectors.

Bech Bruun received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 2000. Bech then went on to attend The University of Texas School of Law, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in 2006. Before their undergraduate studies, they attended Woodberry Forest School from 1993 to 1997.
